Episode 20 – University Leadership in a Community with Adrienne McNeil

Some universities are far more than institutions of higher education. Hear the leadership competencies needed to provide community leadership from Adrienne McNeil. As the Assistant Vice President for Community and Regional Affairs at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, Adrienne manages the partnerships between the university and the community.

Previously she served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the United Way of Lancaster County. In addition to her work with the United Way, McNeil has worked as an adviser for University of Phoenix, as executive director for the York County Community against Racism, as an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University, and in community outreach and multicultural affairs at York College.

She earned her B.A. in public administration from York College and her M.S. in human resource development from Villanova, and is currently working toward her Ph.D. in higher education.
