Monroe Free brings 40 years of organizational leadership experience and perspective to the table. He is reflective and asks deep questions that challenge the leader’s thinking. His social sector leadership has impacted countless families in communities from Knoxville, TN, to Greenville, SC.

Monroe’s mission-driven work and contributions have been recently highlighted with the Healthcare Transformation Award:  Healthy Homes and Hometown, sponsored by Prisma Health. He has been described as a “transformational leader with a passion for promoting dignity and hope,” exemplifying the essence of the Transformation Award.

Monroe is married to Kim, and the two share three adult children and two grandchildren. Among his hobbies are reading, camping, and flyfishing.
